Use it by placing an acrylic board on the base. Powered by 3 AA batteries (not included) or a USB cable (included).
The color changes when you touch the touch sensor (7 colors). There is also an automatic color change mode (fast mode, slow mode). You can stop it by holding down the switch for 5 seconds. This is a very rare version where the base also lights up in the same color.
